They’re cute, they’re loyal, they’re skilled, and they’re royalty! What more can you ask for? Seriously, I’m really digging these two characters: Kouga is cool as hell and fun to draw (it’s kinda like drawing Ryouga, the one anime character I’m holding responsible for forcing me to learn how to draw anime-style at a tolerable level), and Ayame is one of the few improvements the IY anime has over the manga—she’s a damn lot cooler than most of the females that do make their debut in the latter, in my opinion. Unfortunately, her appearances in the anime are frustratingly limited, but she seems well-liked by the Japanese viewing public, so I’m hoping she gets more. Incidentally, if anyone knows or is starting an Ayame fanlisting, let me know. I wanna be one of the first to sign up.
