This’s actually a re-draw of a doodle I made some months ago that partially inspired “The Disguise”—I remembered it again thanks to a suggestion in the “Ideas” section. The original sketch actually had Miroku in Sango’s demon slayer costume instead of her yukata. Similarly, the girls were also absent from the original; I just thought it’d be fun to draw ’em into the background wearing the guys’ clothes, thus completing the whole switch premise. Inuyasha’s face was something inspired; I couldn’t picture him wearing Kagome’s skimpy skirt wearing any other expression. Hmm...I just realized that I didn’t bother with a reference for Inuyasha’s costume; I did this by memory, so I think it’s a bit off. And yes, Miroku can lift Hiraikotsu: he does it twice as far as I know, and both times he’s also carrying Sango and utterly exhausted. And that is why I don’t buy those fanfics where he becomes a wilting lily in the face of both Inuyasha and Sango and suddenly has the upper body strength of a throw pillow.
