This one was inspired by a suggestion from Ellie, who had a visual of the group gambling with cards and wearing barrels. I thought it was a cute idea, but I wasn’t really compelled to put it to paper until one day when I didn’t have anything to do during the school commute. I wasn’t able to fit in the barrels, but I thought the loincloth (I forgot the actual Japanese term for it; was it fundoshi or mawashi or ecchuufundoshi?) would suffice. My sketches aren’t as clean or large as they once were, but it’s a miracle I get to do any nowadays, what with my drawing time being taken up by Flash and AfterEffects.

Anyway, here’s what I think would happen if Kagome somehow snookered the gang into a rousing game of strip poker. Sango, with her many knickknacks and demon hunting paraphernalia, would probably remain clothed the longest (assuming you adhere to the rule that everything on you counts as part of your clothing), much to Miroku’s dismay. The latter, on the other hand, despite his less complicated attire, has a brain made for Las Vegas, so I think he’d last long enough. Inuyasha’d be the worst player ‘cause he’s so guileless, and probably even wouldn’t take the game seriously enough to play well. I think Kagome’d be okay, and there’s a good number of articles in a schoolgirl uniform. The above is the result of my musings. Shippou and Kilala were last minute additions to the scene, though I’m glad that they’re there, because they really need to be drawn more.
