♦ “Sengoku no Koukou (Warring States High)” » 117 Kb (Normal)

God, I hope nobody really fluent in Japanese stumbles on this little monstrosity. It’s an old, old, old test doujinshi page I made like, three months ago (it even contains the second Inuyasha I ever drew), and put up here for no reason other than nostalgia. Also for no particular reason, I decided to stick them in a high-school setting instead of the canon Sengoku Jidai (Warring States Era) one. Thought it’d be kind of a change. That, and I really wanted to see Miroku in glasses...oh, and putting Inuyasha (in his human form) in a schoolboy uniform was kinda fun, too. Dunno why I put his hair in a braid. I just knew I had to leave it long, school regulations be damned. The panels are read Japanese-style: from right to left.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: The hiragana up there is the result of my month-long study of the Japanese language. Since the kanji and hiragana I originally penciled in was probably incomprehensible (and most likely to give the most prolific kanji scholar a conniption), I wimped out and used a handy-dandy hiragana font. And yes, there is an actual conversation taking place. It’s not really that interesting, so there’s no translation forthcoming. ^^;;
