“Angel of Mist”

My angel born of mist
She dreams of scarlet nights
With broken hart, a wish
A new, come mornings light
Nightmares pass to nothing
She lies broken from the day
This passions kiss, a blessing
Our hope of clearer ways
With bloody hands, she trembled
Her everything torn away
With in my arms theres peace now
I pray, she hopes to stay
To give her life to share forever
Id wash away that past
To replace it with our future
A love thats meant to last
My angel born of mist
For always here, please stay
I'll mend your heart, I promise
For your caresses washed away
All the dirt I clung to
And all my foolish ways
For you, my body yearns for
Your fire fills this place
For all its worth, my angel
Your graces save this man
From circles of nameless faces
And the lust of dirty hands
So trust in me, dear always
My sweet and precious wife
Not then, not now, but always
I'll protect your sleepless nights
